What are the types of intermediate support of the drive shaft

After the drive shaft intermediate support bearing is used for a short period of time, pitting, flaking, and even loose frames will appear, which will cause the drive shaft to tremble and other faults. The main reason for this failure is the incorrect installation position of the intermediate support bearing. Deviating from the original design requirements, when transmitting force during rotation, in addition to bearing the transmitted torque, it must also bear the extra load caused by improper installation position, which causes early damage to the bearing. The reasons for the frequent damage of the intermediate support bearing of the drive shaft are:

(1) The clearance between the bolt holes and bolts of the intermediate support hanger is too large.

(2) The frame is deformed.

(3) The imbalance of the drive shaft is too large.

(4) The rubber pad of the middle support hanger is aging or is of poor quality.
