Gravity Roller Conveyor System – Consists of a series of rollers mounted on shafts and fixed to the conveyor frame. System types include line, branch, and merge styles.
Gravity Wheel Conveyor System – Consists of a series of skate wheels mounted on shafts fixed to the conveyor frame. Systems can be fixed or flexible accordion style, ideal for handling light, flat bottoms.
Chute Conveyor System – Constructed of a downward sloping metal or plastic solid surface. The system can be straight or helical.
Grooving Roller
Grooving drums are used to transfer material from one location to another in your facility. The material is transported along the conveyor line along rollers or belts, loading or unloading the material in various areas until it reaches its destination. These conveyor systems can be gravity driven or electric, reducing manual labor, productivity and process efficiency within the factory. Belt conveyors are capable of carrying a relatively wide range of bulk solid products, from fine particles to bulk materials, at relatively high rates and long distances.
Grooving Roller
working principle:
A belt conveyor is just an endless belt made of flexible material that is stretched between two rollers and supported at the upper idler roller interval. When the drum is rotated by the drive motor, the belt will move with the roller due to frictional resistance, where the material placed on the belt will be transferred from one place to another.
Most belt conveyors are equipped with flat belts. Passing through belt or accessory sidewall slots will increase load carrying capacity. Installing transverse slats or texturing the belt surface will allow the operation of the belt conveyor for steeply sloping applications. The end of the conveyor that is loaded with the material being transported is called the "tail end" or "feed end", while the other end from which the load is unloaded is called the "head end".
