Galvanized steel is defined as a carbon steel plate coated with zinc on both sides. There are two main processes used to produce galvanized steel: continuous hot-dip plating and electro-galvanizing.
The hot dip process involves passing steel through a molten zinc bath, while the electrogalvanizing process involves applying zinc by electrolytic deposition. The result is a layer of zinc that adheres tightly to the base metal through the iron-zinc bonding layer.
After paint both sides of galvanized steel sheet, we get prepainted galvanized steel sheet. This material not only has a more beautiful appearance, but also has better anti-corrosion performance.
